important - change to log-in system

Please note: I have upgraded the software I use for managing membership accounts to try to resolve the problems some people have logging in, and also to make the process smoother for new subscribers.

However, I've had to change your user name because the system doesn't allow email addresses as a user name (why can't anything be simple?). Therefore, your new user name is your last name, written with a capital at the start of the name.

Your password remains your city, also written with a capital.

So if your name is Jane Doe and you live in Springfield, your user name is Doe and your password is Springfield. If your name is John Brown and you live in Los Angeles, your user name is Brown and your password is Los Angeles.

There are a couple of people with the same family name, so I have had to give them different user names. If your name is Horton, Baldwin, Marquis, Smith, Moore, or Dowd, your login will be your first and last names together, so if your name is David Smith, your login is Davidsmith. As with all things computer-related, I expect there will be a few problems. I apologize for those in advance.

If you have trouble logging in, you can try the "lost password" function, which will email your user name and password to you.
